As a busy mother, finding time for separate music reviews is challenging. So today, I’m excited to share a double feature! First up, let’s get into the review of “Mere Mehboob” from the film “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.“
To be honest, “Mere Mehboob” didn’t impress me much. Sung by Shilpa Rao and Sachet Tandon with music by Sachin-Jigar, the song feels pretty average overall. The melody is decent, but nothing groundbreaking that sticks with you after a single listen.
Now, let’s talk about Triptii Dimri. Honestly, I’ve always admired her in her earlier roles in films like Animal, Laila Majnu, and Qala, where she played calm, de-glam, and simple characters beautifully. But this sudden shift from her quiet, understated roles to a glamorous diva in skimpy outfits just feels too forced. Don’t get me wrong—Triptii is a stunning actress, but this transformation doesn’t quite sit right with me. It feels like the simplicity that made her shine is being overshadowed by this forced glamour.
Visually, the song is flashy, but there’s nothing particularly special about it. It’s not the kind of track that you’d want to play in a club or one that stays with you after the first listen. It’s more of a “listen once and move on” kind of song unless you’re a die-hard Triptii Dimri fan. Overall, I’d give it an average rating—it’s visually okay, but musically, it doesn’t leave much of an impression.
Now that we’ve got Mere Mehboob out of the way, let’s move on to the next song—“Hatt Jaa Baaju.

Hatt Jaa Baaju” from the upcoming action film Yudhra. The song, sung by Kelly Dlima, Vishal Dadlani, and Arsh Mohammed, has a lively beat, but I found it just okay. Raghav Juyal’s dance moves are the main highlight, and while it’s great to see him in fast motion again, the track doesn’t quite leave a lasting impact.
Visually, the neon and dark party mode sets the right tone, but overall, the song feels a bit too focused on the rivalry between Raghav and Siddhant Chaturvedi without giving much depth musically. The energy is there, but I can’t say it’s something I’d put on repeat. For me, it’s a decent addition to the movie, but not a standout track that I’d rush to play at a party.
