Hey everyone, it’s DJ Shilpi Sharma! Let me tell you, when I heard they were remaking “Na Na Na Na Re,” I was hit with all kinds of nostalgia. This song is a legendary party anthem that takes you back to those carefree, high-energy moments. With Daler Mehndi and his son Gurdeep Mehndi on vocals, I was excited, but as much as I wanted to love this new version, I couldn’t help but feel the original still holds a slight edge.

The original, composed by Anand Milind, had this raw, unfiltered vibe that just grabbed you from the first beat. It was the kind of track you couldn’t ignore. While the new version by White Noise Collectives keeps the essence alive, there’s something about the old one that feels more genuine. The beats in the remake are catchy, and Daler still brings that infectious energy, but it just doesn’t hit quite as hard as the original for me.

Don’t get me wrong, the new version is still great for the dance floor, but if I had to choose, I’d go for the classic. There’s something about that timeless vibe that just can’t be recreated, no matter how good the remix is.
