“Nain Matakka” brings a mix of Punjabi flavor and a modern beat, but honestly, it feels a bit underwhelming. While Diljit Dosanjh and Dhee deliver their vocals with their usual energy, the song lacks the punch we expect from a collaboration of this caliber. The composition by Thaman S is upbeat but feels predictable, making it sound like something we’ve heard before.

The lyrics by Irshad Kamil have a playful vibe, but they don’t leave a lasting impression. The theme of flirtation and playful banter feels repetitive and doesn’t bring anything new to the table.

On the visual front, Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh do a good job with their chemistry and dance moves. However, even the video, with its vibrant sets and peppy choreography, doesn’t elevate the song much. The visuals are fun but fail to make the song truly memorable.

Overall, “Nain Matakka” is not bad—it’s a decent track for casual listening, but it doesn’t stand out as a chartbuster. For fans of Diljit, it’s worth a listen, but it’s unlikely to make a lasting mark in his impressive discography. If I had to rate it, I’d give it a 6/10. It’s enjoyable for a while but not something I’d play on loop.
