Yo Yo Honey Singh’s latest track “Rooh,” featuring Nushrratt Bharuccha, comes with big expectations, especially after the success of his Glory album. However, while the track tries to strike an emotional chord, it doesn’t quite deliver the impact fans hoped for.

The lyrics, written by The Shams, attempt to convey heartbreak and defiance but feel inconsistent and lack clarity. The lines don’t have the memorable punch that we associate with Honey Singh’s songs. Musically, Rusha & Blizza create a dramatic soundscape, but it doesn’t match the energy of Honey Singh’s usual style. Compared to tracks from Glory, the beats feel restrained and miss the mark.

Honey Singh’s rap, once his strongest element, feels underwhelming in “Rooh.” The energy and flow that made him a household name are missing, making the track feel less impactful. Hritu Zee’s vocals bring some emotional weight to the song, but they’re not enough to carry the track to greatness.

The music video is visually stunning, with Nushrratt Bharuccha delivering a captivating performance. Her expressive moves and commanding presence steal the show. The grand visuals, including a castle-like backdrop, fire, and intense lighting, add drama but don’t make up for the track’s shortcomings.

Final Thoughts:-“Rooh” is visually engaging but musically average. Honey Singh’s usual flair is missing, and the track feels like a missed opportunity. While it’s worth a watch for the visuals, it’s not a song you’ll revisit often.
